Herbert Goodchild ( 1873 - 1919)

Goodchild was an early twentieth century bird artist and illustrator, born in 1873 at Cumberland and died sometime around 1919. He was one of the artists who contributed to Gregory Matthew’s important series, Birds of Australia, following the death of John Keulemans in 1912. His works appeared in several other publications.
