French photographer. His father began working on his own account as a photgrapher in 1866 in a studio located at 79, rue de Rivoli. On August 1, 1868, in Enghien-les-Bains, Paul Bacard married Désirée Thiébault, the only daughter of Eugène Thiébault, a photographer who owned a studio at 31, boulevard Bonne-Nouvelle. Soon, Bacard moved into the premises and signed his photos “Maison Thiébault – Bacard Fils successor”.
