Artist:
William Hatherell (1855-1928)
Hatherell studied at the Royal Academy Schools (RA) 1877. He exhibited at the R.A. and R.oyal Watercolour Scoiety (WS) from 1879, showing portraits, genre and illustrations. He worked for Cassell’s the publishers, who sent him to Australia to illustrate Picturesque Australasia. He also worked for The Graphic, and for American magazines.
