Scarce, early hand coloured engraved illustration of Australian native plants based on earlier engravings issued in the first fleet accounts by Phillip and John White. All the images were originally issued in John White’s, Journal of a voyage to New South Wales, 1790 with the exception of the central image ‘5. Yellow Gum Tree ‘which was issud in Governor Phillips, A Voyage to Botany Bay 1789.
