Scarce c.19th lithograph of the slender-flowered eremophila, from Ferdinand von Mueller’s, Description and illustrations of the Myoporinous plants of Australia.

Modern binomial name: Eremophila graciliflora
First described: von Mueller, 1859
Distribution: WA

Endemic to Western Australia, The type specimen was collected by Augustus Oldfield near the Murchison River close to “Yattoo”. The location “Yattoo” has not been found. The type specimen is held at the State Botanical Collection at Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne, a living example has not been recorded for more than 150 years.
