George Rose (1861 - 1942)
Melbourne photographer who started his photographic career around 1880 producing stereoscopic or 3-D images when viewed through a special viewer. He called his business ‘The Rose Stereograph Company’ and he toured the world with his 3-D camera, producing stereographs for the home and overseas markets.
