Scarce c.19th hand coloured engraving of the Union Bank of Australia which was at 351 Collins Street, Melbourne
It was built in 1879-80, and located on the south side of Collins Street, between Elizabeth and Queen Streets. The façade of the building, arched and with intricate stonework, was designed by the Scottish architect, John Macvicar Anderson. The remainder of the building was designed by the local architectural firm of Smith & Johnson, and the contractor of the works was Goss and Mason.
