Collection of two letters and two fold out brochures all signed as follows 1. Brochure title Francis Webb – Five Days Old – (for Christopher John). 4 pages on thick paper, Dated Christmas MCMLXXIII (1973) Signed on verso by Francis Webb in ink. 2. Brochure title Three Poems on Water-Springs Rosemary Dobson. Brindabella Press Canberra. Six small folding pages. Hand set and printed at the Brindabella Press, Canberra, in an edition of 150 copies. March 1973. Signed on verso by Rosemary Dobson. in ink. 3. Letter addressed to Aubrey from Alec Bolton dated 27.June.73 writing in regards to obtaining an image to use for an illustration. Signed Alec. 4. Letter addressed to Aubrey and Margaret from Alec Bolton dated 9.12.73 writing in regards to Frank’s Webb sudden death. Signed Alec. The Brindabella Press was founded in 1972 by Alec Bolton as a ‘leisure-time occupation’. Alec Bolton was a creative force in Australian publishing for almost half a century. After his war service he worked as an editor for Angus &amp Robertson and Ure Smith before establishing the publishing program at the National Library of Australia, producing many outstanding books. In 1987 he left the National Library to become a full-time printer. The Brindabella Press is noted for its fine hand-printing.
