Laying the Victorian End of the Tasmania…

Rare c.19th hand coloured engraving showing the Victorian end of the cable been brought to Flinders by the Eastern Extension’s Company ship Investigator, on 13 April 1869.

It was then taken to Low Head and onto Launceston.
