Description:
Double hemisphere French world map with a crudely shaped Australia with the east coast based on Cook’s discoveries. Tasmania is shown joined to the mainland although Bass Strait had been discovered by Bass and Flinders and a chart made by Aaron Arrowsmith in 1798 . The Hawaiian islands are also shown.
