Delicate engraving of the Thea Bohea – or Tea Plant.

Artist:

George Loddiges  was a British gardener, artist, and naturalist.

He worked in his father’s established nursery business and produced a publication called The Botanical Cabinet which included nearly  2000 illustrated coloured plates of rare plants plants from around the world and was published between 1817 and 1833.
