Gayfield Shaw (1885 - 1961)

Shaw was a commercial gallery director, and one of the most prominent members of the Sydney art scene during the early boom period in Australian visual art following the end of the First World War. He was also a skilled printmaker who took a leading role in establishing the nation’s first etching society.
